Congratulations to Beverly Winters Moon and the Phillipsburg Free Public Library! The Phillipsburg Library was selected randomly from all NJ libraries that posted Launch Week programs to the OBNJ calendar to receive a complete set of the 2008 OBNJ selected titles.

Thank you to all of the libraries who posted a One Book New Jersey 2008 Launch Week program to the website's calendar.

OBNJ will be hosting two sets of online book discussions. Ann Halam will be joining us for a discussion of Dr. Franklin's Island in April, and we'll be discussion The Plot Against America in October. View the calendar for exact dates and details.

There is an OBNJ CONTEST!! The One Book New Jersey Committee offers a terrific opportunity for your library to be recognized for your programming efforts. Libraries are encouraged to submit their One Book New Jersey programs to the committee. Programs may be focused on any of the 2008 books. Programs may be submitted by any public or school library. One Book New Jersey is proud to be back for its sixth year! Please join other NJ libraries by recognizing OBNJ's official Launch Week during February 10-16, 2008. Check the rest of the website for great program ideas, related films, and read-alikes for each of the 2008 selected titles. Remember: February is Love Your Library Month, so invite all of your library users to be a part of Launch Week! Please post your programs to the OBNJ calendar. All libraries with a program scheduled for Launch Week on the calendar will be entered into a raffle to receive a set of 2008 titles.
